I learned to live without my father’s affirmation, but through Christ I have learned to heal in His.

 I grew up on a family farm as the son of a fourth-generation farmer. Hard work, responsibility, and perseverance were deeply valued, but affirmation, emotional connection, and healthy communication were often harder to find. Looking back, I can see how these experiences, and the wounds that came with them, shaped how I viewed myself, God, and my relationships with others.

Those struggles followed me into adulthood and affected my life in ways that were painful and difficult to understand for years. Yet in the middle of my brokenness, God began a work of restoration. He showed me that my identity was not rooted in my past, my failures, or the messages I had carried for years, but in being known, loved, and redeemed by Him.

Broken Ground Ministries was born out of that journey. It exists to walk alongside men who are navigating loss, regret, father wounds, broken relationships, or seasons of rebuilding. My hope is to point others toward the same healing, identity, and restoration that God continues to bring into my own life.
